TOYS: – Vivisect Playset is released Jan. 26, 2008 but you can pre-order it at pinkghost today by clicking here :) The vivisect play set is a brand new multi-artist mini figure series, based on an annual art show hosted by Gallery 1988 and curated by Luke Chueh!
The Vivisect Playset thematically focuses on the dissection and reconstruction of animals to demonstrate human emotion, and 7 artists that particpate regularly in the annual show have devised an incredible range of original character designs. The series features designs by Anthony Ausgang, Luke Chueh, Thomas Han, Peter Gronquist, Joe Ledbetter, Greg Simkins, Amanda Visell – plus a special collaborative design by Joe Ledbetter and Greg Simkins.

- Unipo Series 5: The Speed Demons, is expected for a February 2008 release. Keep an eye out for it. You can also expect more Hazmapos, Unipos and SUGs from UNKL in 2008.

- Rumor has it Huck Gee will have 25 Artist Proof Miami Skullhead Dunnys for 100$ + 10$ S/H on his ebay store friday at noon. If you don’t live in South Florida here’s another chance to get your dunny fix.
- ART: There is a new print by Stella Im Hultberg available for sale at Thinkspace. “Heartbeats” is going for $200 it is 14″ x 20″ and a limited edition of 100.
- Check out vinylpulse.com for an interview with artist Amanda Visell. Her Pink ELephant vinyl toy is scheduled to release today, December 13.
- FT. LAUDERDALE: Dont’t miss our 1 Year Anniversary pinkghost mini festival. This Saturday, December 15. “Sundae Sweethearts” Group Art Show by Danielle Lamberti and Miss Kika opens at 7pm. The first band, Man & Wife, goes on at 8pm. Followed by CtrlCtrl and Fantastic Amazing. Live painting by ph7labs will go on through out the night, raffles and free cupcakes.
First 20 attendees get a goodie bag ;) Yay!
