pinkghost Artist Chubby Books Series 2 is coming!

The Chubby Books are back with 3 new designs by fantastic artists Alberto Cerriteño, Crowded Teeth and Piktorama! Pick up your favorite design or collect them all. With enamored whales, afros, critters, bunnies and robot awesomeness there is something for everyone.

Artist Chubby Books are 250 page Hardcover books including 10 artist designed postcards, 100 lined pages and 150 sketch pages. Series 2 will be officially released Saturday, September 18, 2010 at pinkghost (www.pinkghost.net) and other Chubby Book retailers (www.pinkghost.net/stockists). Piktorama will be signing copies at the pinkghost release party on Saturday, September 18, 2010 from 7pm – 8pm. Chubby Books at signings include a pinkghost keychain while supplies last. Yay!

There are still 10 days until the deadline to submit an entry and application to the Book It Art Show.

All the artwork will be on Hard Book Covers. Everyone is invited to participate in the Group Art Show. Start picking your books!

You can customize your hardcover book anyway you like. However, please keep in mind we will be displaying all the books closed with the front cover forward. Once you are done with your piece bring it to store before June 11, 2010 with a copy of your application.

Then on Saturday, June 19, 2010 we will have the Opening of the Book It Exhibition and all participating artists are encouraged to attend. We will have delicious treats, a live DJ and admission is free.
